*Please note, NTP does not certify therapy pets for the workplace. Our mission is service to our Nashville community and therefore we do not certify pets for the sole purpose of going to their handlers workplace.
Nashville Therapy Pets offers a financial incentive for new teams!!
Beginning in September 2025, new NTP members can qualify for a financial incentive to help cover some of the training costs of their pets, thanks to a generous donation we received in 2025. Eight new volunteer teams will receive funds after they:
Pass their NTP Training Test or Skills Evaluation,
Complete their Supervised Visits,
Apply for Membership, and are an
Active Member with NTP for 3 months.
Nashville Therapy Pets is proud to support and encourage the addition of new volunteer pet therapy teams to serve our community. We hope this incentive will encourage new teams to join us at NTP and in serving Nashville as a whole with the love of our pets.
