Our services

All members of Nashville Therapy Pets are local volunteers, therefore our services are always rendered at no cost to the facility we visit. The majority of our teams live in or around Nashville and it’s surrounding counties. All NTP members form a team consisting of a certified therapy pet and a handler. The pets live with their handler on a regular basis and are their personal pets whom they have trained to do therapy work with. Teams visit facilities to bring joy and happiness wherever they go. Nashville Therapy Pets currently offers dog and cat teams with hopes of expanding to other pets in the future.

We offer therapy pet visits to a variety of locations:

Senior Living Facilities

Including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Hospice Care

School Reading Programs

We visit schools for stress relief and/or reading programs. Including Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, College Campuses, Community Camps
